Project

After COVID, musuem attendance was down. But for the 50th anniversary of Secretariat, Kentucky Derby Museum planned to launch a new exhibit. Idea: Tap into FOMO of Secretariat's historic Derby win, capturing the excitement—and record speed—of the race. The 1973 film coverage of the event was the inspiration. Stylized motion blurs allowed us to use the digitized 16mm film at large scale. Results: 34M Impressions +49% “Plan Your Visit” clicks +15% Museum visits
